The films of David Mamet are usually filled with verbal sparring, but this drama about a mixed martial arts master promises bouts of another kind. Believing that fights will ruin his skills, Mike Terry (Chiwetel Ejiofor, TALK TO ME) reserves his talents in the ring for teaching others at the Southside Jiu-jitsu Academy. When Mike rescues a celebrity (played by Tim Allen) from a fight, his action leads him toward the temptation of competition.
